Our Beliefs:
The Bible:
We believe the Old and New Testament are the very Word of God. (Matt. 5:18, John 16:12-13, 2 Tim 3:16-17, Heb. 1:1-2, and 2 Peter 1:20-21).
The Trinity:
We believe that God is one being, yet three persons [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit]. (Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19-20, and 2 Cor. 13:14).
Jesus Christ:
We believe He is the Son of God, born of a virgin, who died to redeem man, and physical resurrected from the dead, now reigns in heaven and is coming a king one day. (John 1:1-2, 14, Rom. 3:24-25, Eph. 1:7, Acts 1:9-10, Rom. 8:34, 1 Thess. 1:10, 4:13-18, 5:9, and Rev. 3:10, 19:11-16).
The Holy Spirit:
We believe that He is God, and that He is a person. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; He seals, indwells, and empowers the believer. (John 16:8-11, Rom. 8:9, 1 Cor. 12:12-14, and Eph. 1:13-14).
Man:
We believe man was created in the image and likeness of God, but man fell into sin, and is unable to help himself out of the fallen state he is in. (Gen. 1:26-27, Rom. 3:9-23, and Eph. 2:1-3).
Satan:
We believe Satan is a created being, the father of all lies, the open enemy of God, he and his follower well be cast into hell. (Job 1:6-7, Isaiah 14:12-17, Matt. 4:2-11, and Rev. 20:10).
Salvation:
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, it must be received personal by faith, once saved you are sealed and kept by God; assured by this we live for Him and not ourselves, even as we war with are old sinful nature.(John 1:12, Eph. 2:8-10, Rom. 8:1, Gal. 5:13, Rom. 6:13, 8:12-13, Gal. 5:16-25).
The Resurrection/Eternity:
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all humanity, those to eternal life, and those to eternal hell. The believer at the time of death is present with their Lord. The unbeliever at the time of death is in conscious misery through all eternity (Matt. 25:46, Rev. 20:5-6, Phil. 1:23, 3:21, Matt. 25:41-46, 2 Thess. 1:7-9, Rev. 20:11-15).
Dispensational:
We believe in the dispensational view of the Bible. That God dealt/deals with men throughout different ages; from Innocence (Gen. 1:26, Ecc. 7:29, Gen. 1:28), Conscience (Gen. 3:5, Rom. 2:14-15), Human government(Gen. 9:6, Rom. 13:1-5, 1 Tim. 2:1-3), Promise (Gen. 12:2-3, 17:1-8, 26:1-5), Law (Ex. 19:3-8, 24:3,7, Gal. 3:16-18), Grace (Eph. 3:1-7, 1:3, 2:11-17, Matt. 16:18, Acts 2:1-4), and Kingdom (Rev. 20:1-6, 11-15, Matt. 25:41).
The Church:
The local church is those that have been born again in Christ Jesus. The church is to preach the Word, worship, and give glory to God, practice the Lord’s Supper, Baptism, and make disciples of all nations.
The Holy Spirit:
We believe that He is God, and that He is a person. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; He seals, indwells, and empowers the believer.
John 16:8-11
And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
Romans 8:9
However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14
For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
For the body is not one member, but many.
Ephesians 1:13-14
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
